Bespoke solutions to musculoskeletal issues in the workplace.
Occupational health, also known as occupational health and safety, is the field of keeping employers and employees safe at work and the treatment received to help them return to it after an accident.
A growing body of evidence shows that work is good for physical health, mental health and wellbeing. People do not need to be 100% fit to engage with work and it is a key goal of physiotherapists and all Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) to enable people to safely remain in or return to work wherever possible.
As leading physiotherapists in the country, we work closely with the employer and employee to deliver an occupational health assessment, individualised rehabilitation programme and return to work strategy.
Early intervention has been shown to reduce the overall time off work and encourage a quicker return to work, which is beneficial to both the employee and employer.
Bespoke training, designed to your company’s individual needs.
Training is delivered by experienced senior physiotherapists and is made up of the best available evidence from health and safety, bio-mechanics, physiotherapy and psychology research.

Most injuries in and out of work would be classified as soft tissue injuries and it is important these patients are given the right advice early. Often these patients will attend GP surgeries or A&E departments where they are commonly signed off work and told to rest. This goes against current guidance which is to encourage early return to work, protect the injured area if required (by modifying activity) but to keep the area moving and exposed to some load in order for it to repair.
