Pure Physiotherapy is based on the passion for the delivery of quality musculoskeletal care. We are keen to develop our team to be the very best they can be by investing in time and training to continually enhance their skills. Without constant opportunities and encouragement, it’s all too easy to lose touch with the evolving nature of research-led clinical changes or best practice.
Each week our in-house research team reviews a piece of recent peer-reviewed research and summarises it in a succinct format. This is then circulated to the team for review and comments, we also send this out to our partners in primary care to help reduce the burden of keeping up to date on the most recent research.
Pure Physiotherapy has national coverage over the UK with clinics from Devon to Manchester, Norfolk to London. This means we interact with a wide range of different specialists, allowing us to learn from national and local experts. Each month we organise and coordinate lectures with expert external speakers presenting specialist topics e.g. orthopaedic surgeons, sports specialists, CBT therapists etc. The lectures are available for internal staff and our primary care partners for free and to external attendees for a nominal cost. Certificates for evidence are provided after each lecture, these lectures also provide a great source of information for discussion and development of our team and wider professionals.
In addition to the national clinic wide training and development progress, we also provide our physios with weekly training and development with local senior support. Case studies, practical sessions and case reviews all form part of the weekly support our staff receive. In addition to our training, our first contact physiotherapy staff receive training to adhere to the Health Education Roadmap. Our training and development packages are very much individualised at a local level supported by the 90+ physios across the Pure Physiotherapy team.
We have a dedicated marketing team who split their time between working alongside our physios to collate their research and knowledge into posts for our social media platforms and making sure all our followers are kept up to date with what is happening on the ground at Pure and in the team. We focus highly on making sure each of our social medial channels is tailored suitably to its audience, assuring we have accessible, interesting and informative posts. Our profiles can be found on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with each profile displaying in-depth research, informative studies and access to many MSK findings.
