When booking an appointment at Pure Physiotherapy, you will be given a choice, where possible, over which physiotherapist to book with. If your selected Physiotherapist does not have availability to suit, simply return to the practitioner selection page and re-select an alternative. Some Specialist, Advanced Clinician, Sports, or Women’s Health appointments may also be available at your selected clinic. Our expert Physiotherapists will ask you some detailed yet concise questions to fully understand your issue. They will then thoroughly assess the relevant areas of your body contributing to your condition.

This helps the physiotherapist to accurately diagnose and manage your condition. Once a diagnosis has been reached, you will receive appropriate expert advice, as well as a personalised exercise programme to help you on your road to recovery.

Depending on your condition, the physiotherapist may also use techniques such as massage, joint mobilisations or manipulations, acupuncture or therapeutic taping to promote tissue health and help you fully recover.

If our physiotherapists had a penny for every time they were asked this question…

Unfortunately, there’s no simple answer. Every condition or injury—whether it involves soft tissue, joints, ligaments, or muscles—has its own unique timeline for recovery.

Our best advice is to seek expert support. Have the affected area thoroughly assessed, talk to an experienced clinician, and discuss your goals. We can guarantee you’ll reach your goals faster with a physiotherapist on your team than without.

Here at our Great Yarmouth Clinic, exercise therapy is a key part of our treatment – movement is the best medicine!

When you visit us, our expert physiotherapists will create a comprehensive, personalised exercise programme just for you. Whether you’re dealing with a shoulder injury from tennis, or that back pain that’s been grumbling in the background for months, your exercises will be tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Our physiotherapists are experts in their field, with extensive musculoskeletal knowledge. They are competent in recognising when a condition may require surgical intervention or specialist care.

We are well-connected with local private and NHS specialists. If you need further investigations, or an orthopaedic opinion, we will promptly refer you to the appropriate specialist.

Physiotherapy appointments typically last between 20 and 60 minutes, depending on the type of appointment. Our admin team can confirm this when you book your appointment.

We strive to schedule appointments as quickly as possible, though peak times can fill up fast. If you’re flexible with your schedule, we can usually find an appointment within a few days.

Appointments can be made online, via telephone or pop by into a clinic and the receptionists or physios on site will be able to do this on your behalf.
